Good morning! Well, it's 5 am......and the coffee is ready! It's magical this morning! I have Redi-Whip! Hurray! Doesn't that sound fun?? I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the KUENZI family.....and my mom and Larry...and Season's mother.....we should have about 30 people here for brunch this morning. Christmas Eve brunch. Our holiday celebration. I stayed up late preparing the casseroles and mopping the floor and woke up early just because I am a little giddy about the whole thing. Sam said the most wonderful thing last night as we were leaving my cousin Ronnies house after our giant Smith family gathering. He hopped in the car and he was smiling and he said, "Mama. I really like our family." I said, 'I do, too." And it's true. It's a really nice feeling to be blessed by such a loving group of people....Truly! each and every person is lovely and delightful...on the Smith side AND the Kuenzi side AND the Clark side.....and now that I think about it, I am surrounded by a group of people that I call friends who are all lovely and delightful, too. It's rather humbling to be in the midst of them. I am honored. So as I sit here in my pajamas this morning, sipping my coffee, in my warm house which is clean, waiting for my family to come, I am feeling blessed. Truly blessed. What a wonderful life I have been given......complete with twinkle lights! Yay!!
